We have best practices in ophthalmology services for cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis. Currently we have valganciclovir as our treatment of choice for CMV retinitis. We have a round of infectious diseases specialists: Internal Medicine infectious disease specialists, obstetrics infectious disease specialists, and pediatric infectious disease specialists, so we can handle prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV as well as advanced HIV-related diseases and patients who need admission.
